2007 AZIKC Tracks

The host track for the 2007 Arizona Indoor Kart Championship by Racingschools.com will again be the F1 Race Factory Indoor Kart Racing facility in Phoenix, Arizona – USA. This world class, state-of-the-art facility has just completed its second year of operation, and has established itself as the premier indoor Karting track in the South Western USA!

Housed in a self-contained 14.000 sq.ft building, of which ¾+ is used as racing area, the F1 Race Factory is currently North America’s largest indoor kart track facility. The F1 Race Factory has a complete entertainment and corporate meeting environment with conference rooms, wireless internet connection, as well as a full video arcade, rock climbing wall, billiards room and restaurant & bar to hang out. The Trackside Grill at F1RaceFactory is great for a fun lunch or dinner, and like the track, its open seven days a week! Great tasting pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, a selection of ice-cold beverages (including beer for folks over 21!!), and great appetizers, as you relax and enjoy your favorite sports team or auto race playing on 30+ televisions located throughout the facility. There's a lot to do even for those who are not racing!!

For those who are racing, the F1 Race Factory's cleverly designed racing surface allows multiple challenging track layouts, with two separate 1⁄4 mile circuits that when joined, form a 1⁄2 mile, 20+ turn indoor "Nurburgring" that will beat you to a pulp! All track lay-outs combine fast sweepers and tight hairpin turns with high speed areas, and are designed to challenge the drivers, no matter how skilled they may be. Two different configurations of the full 1⁄2 mile GP track were used in the 2005 Arizona Indoor Kart Championship, in both 1 and 1.5 hour long races! The 1⁄4 mile tracks are used for practice during the week prior to the event. The full 1⁄2 mile GP track is set on the Friday preceding the AZIKC for optional practice, and stays set until the end of the event.

The F1 Race Factory uses the Italian made Parolin kart chassis, fitted with a 270cc Honda GX engine putting out 9HP, and Yokohama slick racing tires. These are some of the most powerful gasoline powered indoor kart racing engines available anywhere, and used by some of the best indoor tracks in the world. Simple single gear, gas and brake pedal format. Rear Disk brakes. Adjustable seat. Helmet provided if you do not have one! F1 Race Factory track is open for practice 365 days a year, 10am/11am to 10 pm (later on weekends) ! ! The F1Race Factory is also a host for the Red Bull Driver Search for younger drivers!
