The American Racing Academy provides some of the best race car driver training programs in the world at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. The original company, founded by ex-Formula 1, Indycar, and GT Prototype driver, as well as SpeedTV comentator Derek Daly, is now under new management, but still provides the same top quality programs. Using Formula 2000 cars, drivers can do a short half day program to get a taste of what driving a Formula 2000 race car is like, or do a multi-day program to get licensed to go racing. A new alliance with LRS Formula 1 Experience even makes available the option to drive Formula 1 cars at the end of some programs (unique & exclusive option in the USA!). Driver education and skill building programs also available in BMW Z3 cars.

The K1RaceGear.com 2006 Indoor Kart Challenge Tour features the 3 highest placed American indoor kart drivers in the world ranking. Drivers Brad Godfrey, David Nekula, and Brandon Lax, will tour select USA indoor kart track facilities, racing in specially organized endurance events against local racers who may not have a chance to compete against the world's best in the IKWC.
